A Message from the Executive Director:

2010 marks the beginning of Granting Dreams' third year. It is exciting to put into action plans that will propel us forward in this coming year. We have a challenging budget to meet that will enable us to grow the number of dreams we can grant, grow our volunteer base and add a PT paid staff member to assist with development.

We are currently seeking local business professionals to grow our board of directors. For more information, go to "About Us/Board of Directors". Plans for 2010 include four events during the year as well as implementation of our marketing plan and establishing corporate partnerships. 

To our business partners, artists and their management teams - thank you for touching lives in such a profound way. We look forward to a continued relationship with each of you this year so that together we can help those who turn to us.

Our sincere thanks to all those individuals who have helped us through your gift of a donation. Without you, dreams would not have had their wings to soar. You have allowed irreplaceable memories to be built. It is your kindness that has forever touched lives.

To the families and loved ones who have suffered a great loss, thank you for allowing the Granting Dreams Foundation and its supporters to touch your hearts in a very personal and meaningful way. May your love and memories carry you forward this year and for many, many years to follow.

• Did you know that the large Children's Wish Granting organization stops granting wishes for those who have reached their 18th birthday? This leaves over 550,000 people each year with very limited options...hence the reason Granting Dreams was founded. We care about the those facing their end-of-life journey and about the dreams they have. 
• Did you know that we rely solely on the contributions of individuals, civic groups, grants and corporate sponsors? We receive no federal or state funding. We need people like you to embrace our mission if we are to continue to grow to meet the number of requests we receive.
• Did you know that you can make a donation in honor of someone for a special occasion, or in lieu of flowers make a gift in memory of someone close to you? We also offer a holiday card announcing that you made a donation in lieu of a gift. All gifts are acknowledged and a beautiful card is sent to the recipient.
